Hi my ame is Connie and I am a guest writer for Fuller's Kidswear. My blog site is Crafty Caring Friends or my other site HERE... I have two (2) blogsites; I did them the second one by accident. LOL. I entered a different email address and tada - I had a second blog made! I blog on and off when I'm inspired or if I get some time.
ABOUT ME... I lived in Wisconsin until I was 20 and then I moved to Illinois. I am a Evangelical Christian, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. As a Christian I enjoy discussing my beliefs with others. I have a warped sense of humor. My favorite hobby was papercrafting but now its being a Grandma! I love the outdoors and most of my inspiration comes from it. My husband and I like to travel the United States. There is so much to see in this great land of ours. My friends are an inspiration to me and I consider them part of my family. And most of all I believe that God's greatest treasure on earth is family!... did I mention that I have an identical twin!!!
My dad told me he wanted to start this children's clothing site/business to help families who were struggling to find quality clothing at reasonable prices for their children... I have to admit I was a little skeptical so I looked on-line regarding the parent company, Magic Kids USA. I couldn't find any bad reviews so I gave it a shot! I have placed two orders and all the clothes are terrific and they got here quickly. I'm glad I ordered! and I know that I can rely on them.
This is my dad's blogsite and I couldn't be prouder of him for starting this venture. I truely know his main goal is to help others... and with today's economy people like me need a places like this. I must mention that I am an advocate for buying locally and going to our local community stores. But unfortuantley I am also disabled and am not able to get out and go to places like I use to...
That's why I started using on-line shops like Fuller's Kidswear. This doesn't mean I don't go to the stores. LOL. I do enjoy getting out too. I just need to wait for my husband or friends to take me.
Prayer of the Children
Hear the prayer of the childrenon bended knee, in the shadow of an unknown room?Empty eyes with no more tears to cryturning heavenward toward the light.Crying," Jesus, help meto see the morning light of one more day,but if I should die before I wake,I pray my soul to take."Can you feel the hearts of the childrenaching for home, for something of their very own.Reaching hands with nothing to hold ontobut hope for a better day, a better day.Crying," Jesus, help meto feel the love again in my own land, but if unknown roads lead away from home, give me loving arms, away from harm."(oooooo la la la la etc etc.)Can you hear the voice of the childrensoftly pleading for silence in their shattered world?Angry guns preach a gospel full of hate, blood of the innocent on their hands.Crying," Jesus, help meto feel the sun again upon my face? For when darkness clears, I know you're near, bringing peace again."
Can you hear the prayer of the children?
Prayer of the Children is a song for a four-part men's choir, with words and music written by Kurt Bestor and arranged by Andrea S. Klouse.
Kurt Bestor told Meridian Magazine
"Those children didn't hate anybody," he said. "They didn't care about who owned the land, or who had the power or the money. These are adult neuroses. They just wanted to have a mom and dad and a place to play."
May we all pray for our children and for others' children they deserve a world filled with safety and love; joy and caring.... it is ALL OF OUR RESPONSIBILITY to PROTECT our children!
Pray with me each day
Heavenly Father,
We Your people come together in prayer for our children.
Keep them safe this day, protect them from the evil one,
give them wisdom, enlightenment, and strength
to resist temptation when it comes their way.
They are only ours for such a short time, we give them unto Your care.
They are Yours, You created them and You love them so.
Send Christian mentors into their lives, who they will listen to.
Mentors who are walking in Your Ways,
who will guide and direct them on the path to You.
For those who have left Your church,
help them to understand that in community there is peace and comfort.
We pray they will all come to know
Your Son Jesus
as their personal Lord and Savior.
- Judith
Thank you for taking this time out to read these words and I pray that they inspire you too as they did me.
I Believe that TOGETHER we can make a difference.
'til next time,
Con
